Purpose

North Carolina has a played a large role in the military history of the United States from colonial times to the present day.

The Lt. Col. William Henry Chapman Society was organized in 2005 as a North Carolina Military Roundtable for the purpose of encouraging the teaching of the history of the United States and its military in a fair and impartial manner.  We are a historical, patriotic, educational, nonpolitical organization.

We meet on the third Tuesday evening of each month except December. While we concentrate on North Carolina’s part in United States military history, do not think it unusual to find programs on our schedule dealing with other aspects of the American military. During the course of the year we may schedule field trips, seminars or workshops for our members.

MEMBERSHIP: Dues are $20 per year per family. A membership application or membership renewal form is available by clicking on the link at the left.

If you would like to find out more about us or join us in our activities, please feel free to contact us at ChapmanSociety@Yahoo.com or visit our next meeting.
